Japanese Sweets

Japanese Sweets Detail
Fresh hand made Mochi can be found at Umai-do Japanese Sweets! It's the real deal here, I'm no Mochi pro but I've always managed to lift up some spirits with Happy smiles!
So many kinds to get...The mochi covered sweets are Habutai (plain mochi w/smooth red azuki paste filling); Pink Mochi (pink mochi w/smooth lima bean paste filling); Yomogi (green mochi w/chunky red azuki bean paste filling), yomogi is a herb call mug wort slight taste similar to green tea; Kinako - similar to Yomogi except coated with kinako (roasted soy bean flour); The only dango piece is Chi Chi Dango (coconut milk mixed with the mochi - no filling). The baked kinds are Imogashi, the shop's signature piece - cinnamon coated cake covered w/lima bean paste filling; Kuri manju -looks like a chesnut - cake covered w/egg wash w/lima bean paste filling; two dorayaki (pancake style) sweets one wplain batter the other has matcha green tea in the batter. Both have chunky red azuki bean paste filling.
